Often called Yupo paper – after one of the prominent manufacturers from the USA, the recyclable synthetic paper made from polypropylene doesn’t absorb liquids; it is acid-free and pH neutral. In recent years it has started to gain popularity as it is easy to clean and remove paints, the paper is also water-resistant and incredibly durable.
The smooth surface is suitable for tones, images and motifs, which are usually hard to achieve on traditional absorbent drawing papers.
Paints can be completely wiped off with a cloth making it easy to make corrections and layer colours.
Synthetic paper is often used for drawing with fineliners, alcohol and acrylic markers and inks, mixed technique, acrylic and watercolour paints, scratching techniques with oil pastels, handmade recipe books, greeting cards and labels.
Slanchogled keeps the sizes 100 x 70 cm, 25 x 35 cm and А4 (29.7 x 21 cm) of synthetic paper in stock.
Big sheets in the 100 x 70 cm size are only available online; they can be delivered to the Varna and Sofia locations with an order.
